The ADN Investigation team
Alexandre LAVERZE
Alexandre Laverze has been a private investigator since earning his Private Investigator (Agent de Recherches Privées) qualification in 2009. Trained at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Police (France's national police academy) in partnership with ESARP, he first worked at several investigation firms before founding ADN Investigation in 2011, driven by a strong conviction: "I started from the observation that agencies often lacked transparency."
He built the agency around an in-house team rather than a lone investigator, and early on developed a dedicated line of business for professionals — companies, public bodies and insurers — which would become the Professionals / ProTein brand. In 2017, he earned a qualification as an expert in corporate protection and economic intelligence from the IHEMI (formerly INHESJ, the French Ministry of the Interior's Institute for Advanced Studies), followed by an AFNOR insurance-investigator certification that allows him to work on behalf of insurance companies investigating the causes of claims and fighting fraud.
A founding member of the Association des Détectives Indépendants (French network of independent detectives) and certified by ALFA and SNARP, he now oversees all investigations carried out by ADN Investigation, coordinates the agency's network of regional and national partners, and represents ADN within the profession's professional bodies.
ADN Investigation also draws on a team of field investigators deployed according to each case, as well as the institutional networks and partner agencies presented below — the guarantee that an investigation is never entrusted to a single person.
Institutional Networks
ADN Investigation does not work in isolation: the agency is an active member of several French and international professional organisations, which vouch for the seriousness of its practices and let it draw on a network of qualified investigators wherever needed.
ADI — Association des Détectives Indépendants
A national network of licensed private investigators, where admission is based on peer nomination and field experience rather than simple membership. ADN Investigation is a founding member and draws on this directory of fellow investigators to act quickly anywhere in France through co-opted agencies, each responsible for its own geographic area.
CII — Council of International Investigators
An international organisation founded in 1955, bringing together private investigators worldwide around shared standards of professionalism, integrity and ethics. ADN Investigation is a member, which lets it draw on an international network of fellow investigators for cases that extend beyond French borders.
SNARP — Syndicat National des Agents de Recherches Privées
France's leading professional union for private investigators, it defends the interests of private investigators before public authorities and takes part in the legislative and regulatory reforms that govern the profession, in particular on training and ethics.
ESARP — École Supérieure des Agents de Recherches Privées
One of only two schools authorised to award the Private Investigator qualification recognised by CNAPS, in partnership with the École Nationale Supérieure de la Police and the IHEMI. It is through this ongoing training that the ADN team maintains and updates its skills.
CNAPS — Conseil National des Activités Privées de Sécurité
A public body under the authority of the French Ministry of the Interior, which regulates access to private security and investigation professions, issues professional licences and authorisation numbers, and sanctions breaches of professional ethics. It is the authority that licenses ADN Investigation and each of its investigators.
IHEMI (formerly INHESJ)
The French Ministry of the Interior's Institute for Advanced Studies, a leading institution in security, justice and economic intelligence. It is where Alexandre Laverze earned his qualification as an expert in corporate protection and economic intelligence in 2017.
ALFA — Agence de Lutte contre la Fraude à l'Assurance
An association created by insurance companies to coordinate the detection and prevention of fraud. ADN's director is a certified insurance investigator there, which is the basis for the agency's legitimacy to act on behalf of insurers on disputed claims.
SNCF Développement
An SNCF (French national railway) subsidiary dedicated to supporting business creation and development across France's regions. It backed the founding of ADN Investigation from its creation in 2011, as part of its support for local entrepreneurship.

Beyond its two offices in Lille and Bersée, ADN Investigation works with a select number of partner agencies, chosen for their reliability and membership in the same professional networks, to cover cases outside its direct area of operation.
ACT Investigations — French Riviera
Partner agency for the Cannes, Nice and Monaco area, ADI-accredited like ADN Investigation. It handles the same areas — civil, family and criminal cases, and corporate investigations — with the same standards of professional ethics.
ASP — Au Service de la Preuve — Angers, Western France
A partner agency for over 7 years in Western France (Angers, Saumur, Cholet and beyond), specialising in coercive-control and cult-related cases, with a multidisciplinary team of lawyers and psychologists. Its manager holds a Master's degree in Law from Panthéon-Assas University.
